Originally from the coast of Kyushu island, its production expanded inland to cities like Takeo.

The simple beauty of the brushstroke is used to create designs such as flowers, birds and trees.

Often in a combination of black iron, straw ash glaze and slip. 

Karatsu ware came to be well known for its tea ceremony product.

ひぜん最古の陶磁器のひとつである唐津焼は、450年以上の歴史があります。
もともとは九州の海岸から、内陸部の武雄などに生産を拡大しました。
ブラシストロークのシンプルな美しさは、花、鳥、木などのデザインを作成するために使用されます。
多くの場合、黒鉄、麦わら灰釉、スリップの組み合わせです。
唐津焼は茶道で有名になりました。
