山形県南陽市に拠点を置くグレープリパブリックは、土地の気候や文化を含めた“テロワール”を重視する自然派ワイナリー。除草剤・殺虫剤・肥料・酸化防止剤を使わず、天然酵母のみで醸造。スペイン製陶器アンフォラ17基で発酵を行い、ブドウの生命力をそのままワインに映し出す。2015年より有機栽培を開始し、地域の耕作放棄地再生や新規就農者支援にも取り組む、“ぶどう共和国＝GRAPE REPUBLIC”を目指している。

Fragrant aromas of Muscat and apple with lively acidity. Fresh apple and Muscat fruit unfold gently, leading to a smooth, rounded finish from the wine’s natural lees.

Located in Nanyo, Yamagata, GRAPE REPUBLIC practices natural winemaking rooted in terroir and culture. No herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, or SO₂ are used, relying only on native yeasts and fermentation in 17 Spanish ceramic amphorae. Since 2015, they have cultivated organically, revitalizing abandoned farmland and nurturing new growers to realize their vision of a “Grape Republic.”
